My greatest strength as an artist is my confidence with multiple media techniques. I started art school focusing on film photography. The challenge of this time honored technique was exciting because, as the artist, you can't see what you’ve captured in the moment. I quickly learned to have confidence in my shots, especially since they’re limited. Focusing on film gave me an early and greater understanding of alternative processes and cameras.

Picking up my first digital camera only continued my thirst for knowledge, and in doing so I discovered my love of capturing humans and their special moments. In the digital realm, my repertoire has expanded in all conditions: studio, outside lighting, etc. I continued to develop my editing mastery in my thesis work, utilizing photoshop for magazine-quality images of models. I have always loved the editing process but where I feel most creative is out in the field with customers.

I have a Bachelor of fine arts degree with a focus on Photography from the University of Montana.
